:esrever:

heaven installed a second floor for our
bitter break up cause they knew
we would be throwing shit around
like this was planned any how

leave but dont forget the past
forget me
but dont forget what we had

come down sometime and explain how you feel
because with my hands all over you
i never could tell
how much of this was real

leave but dont forget the past
forget me
but dont forget what we had

make up and satallites all spinning
round my off center universe
i gave up in the beginning
because i thought you drove in reverse

:Out La De Da:

out on the la de da's
they make drinks just a little to weak
to make me witty
and my speach just a bit worth forgetting

its all so
overwhelmingly ordinary
except for that la, de da, de da
the rain falls so
subtley forgeting
except for that la, de da, de da

then again my lips are parched
for that drink i didnt have
with the girl in the corner
and i walked home la de da, de da

next to the slow fire
i spent hours kindling
as i drift to sleep
its slowly extinguishing la, de da

and then i dream away
a drink or two
for everything i love painfully
the night goes la, de da, de da

Currently Listening To: My Morning Jacket. Song: Off The Record. Album Z.

I think this song is a bit out of my usual taste, but then, I’m not sure I have a usual taste. Though for a while some people said everything I listened to sounded a bit like Radiohead. This I always vehemently denied…despite the fact that I kind of thought so myself.

At any rate, this is a great tune. Has a nice soft groove at the end that kind of reminds me of a few tracks off Air’s, Moon Safari.

In other news, the fire season is OVER. I’m sure that sentence doesn’t read like it sounds in my mind, in my mind ive accentuated the O, to sound like some line from some movie I cant remember. Which sucks for you, cause understanding that would make the reading of all this much more pleasurable.

So yeah, fire season, done, caput, no more, zilch, zero, none. If all works out ill be back on the helicopter next season. This unfortunately has not yet been decided however, as the forest FMO (Forest Management Officer) still has to give the blessing to my bosses, for the hire. Crossing my fingers, but hey I got a job offer on a helicopter in Idaho if I want it. Not that I want to leave the lovely Tahoe National Forest…but its an option that would keep me on the air born side of fire fighting if all else fails. I would miss my family though, if I went to Idaho…but man, the wilderness up there is amazing. In so far as I’ve been told it’s one of the largest wilderness areas left in the states. There’s nothing like getting dropped into the middle of nowhere, with just you and buddy, to knock down a nice little lightning fire.

For anyone whos interested, my new journal home is, http://motoryogurt.deviantart.com/. I'll likely post my next few entries here, but soon after be ending the xanga postings...other then the occasional poem. deviantArt.com gives me all the room I need for my new photography hobby and has a spot for journal stuff. Anyone who reads this and is in to any type of art should give http://www.deviantart.com/ a look. No cost, and all the upload space you could want. Plus if you subscribe, you can work out print deals with them that will give you up to 50% of any work of yours, thats bought.

If you join through me, list MotorYogurt as the reference :) (not even sure listing me gives me any props, but you never know :) And even if you're not an artist but enjoy art, check it out. Its an endless supply of images to enjoy.

In closing, I leave you with some recent albums I think are worth a solid listen.

Sigur Ros – Takk (Or any other Sigur album)

Wolf Parade - Apologies To The Queen Mary (Modest Mouse fans will especially enjoy it I think.)

Blur – 13 (I know its not new but I just got it, and I dig it. The first song, Tender, has been on the top of my playlist for awhile.)

:sabotage:

this morning seemed normal
i awoke as usual
you made as if to torment me
i made as if to keep asleep

and as sun chased up our time
and i wanted nothing more
then to chase it back down
we shared something
that im afraid to understand

fear of form things that seem to fit
change being escape
i cant seem to but look for it
so i turn this finished puzzle to shit

im so afraid of everything ive learned
im so afraid i havnt learned anything
